Architectural Surfaces Group New Parent Company of Three Brands
The consolidated company comprised of Architectural Granite & Marble (AG&M), Pental Surfaces and Modul Marble now have a new joint parent name: Architectural Surfaces Group (ASG).
The new parent company is strengthening the organization via operational improvements, allowing the brands to focus on delivering the highest level of service to their customers. Each business will continue to operate under its respective brands that are recognized as marketplace leaders.
The new company name encompasses all offerings and products from the brands it represents. The new logo conveys the coming together of different companies for a combined platform that benefits from tenured relationships and established reputations of the existing entities.
“The combination of AG&M, Pental, and Modul has allowed us to learn from each other’s strengths and utilize efficiencies from our combined scale to better serve our customers with innovative products and value-added service solutions,” said Sunil Palakodati, Chief Executive Officer of ASG.
Each entity is a leading distributor of interior surfaces for its respective geographic areas, with a total of 13 locations across the United States.
Pental Surfaces, based in Seattle, is one of the largest independent value-added distributors of natural stone, engineered stone, and tile serving the Western United States. Pental has five premium locations in Seattle, Tacoma, Wash., Portland, Ore., Van Nuys, Calif., and Denver.
AG&M, based in Spicewood, Texas, near the state capital of Austin, is a leading importer and distributor of natural stone, engineered stone, and related products used in residential construction, commercial construction, and remodeling.
AG&M’s showrooms serve customers in Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Nashville, and Raleigh, N.C. AG&M’s deep industry experience, reputation and scale provide access to some of the most-consistently sourced materials from suppliers around the globe.
Modul Marble is one of the most prestigious suppliers of natural stone, marble, and quartz slabs with locations in Sun Valley, Calif., and Anaheim, Calif., as well as Charlotte, NC.
