250 SpeedRocClick picture to enlarge ATLAS COPCO, Commerce City, Colo., introduces SpeedROC 2F top hammer drilling surface drill rig, bult with an excavator-style carrier with full 360° range of access. Four outrigger jacks ensure a stable drilling platform in any position even when the rig is used at maximum capacity. Used for both vertical and horizontal drilling, the SpeedROC 2F is equipped with customer’s choice of DF 500X or DF 530X hydraulic rock drills. Tramming and drilling operations are driven by the carrier’s Tier 4 engine.

All functions can be controlled through radio remote control, enhancing operator safety. The rig’s dust collection system improves the operator’s overall working environment. A water misting option is also available.

The SpeedROC 2F is also compatible with the new accountability initiatives of Natural Dimension Stone Standard – ANSI/NSC 373, guaranteeing customers stone product compliance from the very starting point of the supply chain.
