Speakers, Topics Sought for StonExpo 2013

DALLAS – Interested in offering an educational session at StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas next January in Las Vegas? Here’s your chance – but don’t delay.

Hanley Wood Exhibitions is soliciting proposals on seminars for the 2013 event. Speakers need to get their names – and topics – in by March 5.

The S2 Education Program cultivates networking, discussion and the sharing of ideas. Sessions assist and teach professionals to find solutions, increase motivation, and achieve continued success by raising the bar on their own personal and professional knowledge development.

Courses are offered in time slots of one hour, one-and-a-half hours and a few long-form sessions of three hours. Educational tracks include:

    • Business
    • Marketing
    • Sales
    • Building Design & Trends
    • Flooring Installation
    • Stone Fabrication/Installation
    • Care, Maintenance & Restoration
    • Sustainability

Show management and the S2 Education Advisory Council will review all proposals. Final acceptance will be based upon several factors, including proposal originality, timeliness of topic and relevance of content. All approved courses will be submitted for continuing education and will therefore require syllabus handouts for attendees.

Vendors (industry manufacturers/distributors) must be exhibitors in the show to be considered for a presentation. No travel or hotel expenses will be paid to exhibitors, association members, consultants and/or press representatives for the Jan.28-31 event.

Proposals must be made through the event’s online submission form by the March 5 deadline.
