Skaff Joins Lackmond as Marketing VP

 

MARIETTA, Ga. – Ted Skaff is the new vice president of marketing for diamond-tool manufacturer Lackmond Products Inc.

250 skaffTed SkaffSkaff will oversee the firm’s marketing and new business department and lead strategic growth initiatives within the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Prior to Lackmond, Skaff worked at the Pearlman Group (Pearl Abrasive Co. and GranQuartz) as director of marketing. During his 19-year tenure at the Pearlman Group, he was responsible for development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy — including branding, customer experience, public relations and customer acquisition and retention initiatives.

“This position is a truly a unique opportunity for me to help strengthen relationships between Lackmond Products Inc. and our customer partners,” Skaff said. “I am excited to be part of building the Lackmond brand and expanding our marketing programs. We will continue to position ourselves as the leader in the construction, tile and stone markets.”

Skaff holds a B.S. Degree in business, with a concentration in marketing, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is presently the Vice Chair of the Safety Committee for the Marble Institute of America (MIA).

Marietta-based Lackmond is a leading manufacturer and marketer of diamond saw blades, cutting tools, tile saws, grinding and drilling equipment, CNC tooling and accessories for the tile, stone and construction markets.
