SFA: Win Your Way to Miami Beach
Care to put your fabrication skills on the line to win a trip to a trade show this fall — and match up with the best in the business?

The Stone Fabricators Alliance (SFA) will crown the champion in its Fabricator Olympics during the StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas East event on Oct. 19-22 in Miami Beach, Fla. To qualify, fabricators need to win first at one of the group’s regional workshops … and get free airfare for the Miami event.
The local and national competition will focus on three disciplines: flat-edge polishing; shaping/polishing a demi bullnose edge; and top-polishing a scratch to blend into the existing polished finish. The highest cumulative score at each workshop will advance to the national competition at the Miami Beach Convention Center, compliments of the SFA.
There will be prize(s) awarded after the final rounds in Miami Beach.
At this year’s first regional SFA workshop this March in Mobile, Ala., Bob Slasser bested seven other competitors to claim the first round-trip to Miami International Airport this fall.
Qualifyiing rounds will continue this summer at regional SFA events on June 12-13 in Portage, Mich.; July 10-12 in Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Aug. 7-8 in Liberty Lake, Wash.
