MATERIALS
N.Y. GRANITE
Champlain Stone Ltd., Warrensburg, N.Y., introduces Crown Point Granite, with a medium-to-fine grain and a color palette of blush, caramel and pale green, with speckles of burgundy, white and blue. The stone is quarried at the company’s facilities in Clemmons, N.Y., which (for LEED® purposes) is within 500 miles of major U.S. cities such as New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Baltimore. Crown Point is available in rubble or sawn forms, allowing for a variety of applications, including veneer and landscaping.

MARBLE/SHELL MOSAIC
Artistic Tile, New York, introduces Chrysanthemum, the latest addition to the Perlamarmi Collection. The stone-and-rivershell mosaic, cut in a floral pattern by waterjet, features petals of polished Calacatta Gold marble paired with hints of white natural rivershell inserts.

RECYCLED GLASS
Glass Recycled, Plano, Texas, offers GlassSLAB, a surface using post-consumer and industrial recycled glass and porcelain in 400 different styles. Binding is with a color-customizable epoxy resin for lighter material weight than cementious slabs, with custom-color and color-matching production available. The 1”-thick slabs are produced in sizes of 27” X 84”, 30” X 84”, 60” X 84”, 72” X 84”, 84” X 84” and 84” X 96”. Shipping is available nationwide and internationally.

SCARIFYER
CS Unitec Inc., Norwalk, Conn., introduces the EPF 1503 Scarifying Machine with carbide “star” cutters to roughen, descale, abrade, clean and texturize concrete, as well as remove plaster, old paint, adhesives, plastics and resins from masonry. This is an ideal tool for professional renovations of masonry materials. Using a 13.6 AMP motor, the unit operates at 4,000rpm with 16 tungsten carbide cutters on a 5” diameter milling head. The dust guard connects directly to a standard vacuum hose for dust-free operation; the height of the guard guide ring is adjustable for controlling the depth.

SLURRY DRYER
ENCON Evaporators, Hooksett, N.H., introduces the ENCON Drum Dryer to concentrate and dewater slurries and sludge. The unit offers constant circular and vertical mixing to ensure homogeneous drying, encapsulating a 55-gallon drum and heating it from outside. Temperatures are controlled with a thermocouple and timer system to provide consistent heating and accurate level of dryness. The dryer can also be used as a standard ENCON Drum Evaporator.
