Porcelain Panel Training Heads South

JACKSON, Miss. — Sessions from the National Tile Contractors Association will criss-cross Florida and surrounding states in May and June.

Training for handling and installing large porcelain slabs by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) takes a southeastern U.S. swing in May and June, with an emphasis on the Sunshine State.

The industry group’s education on Gauged Porcelain Tile Panel (GPTP)/Slabs will cruise through six cities with eight sessions in the next two months, with training on industry standards and methods for installing GPTP; how GPTP is made; where it can be used; and special tools, setting materials, and techniques required to install it.

This program will emphasize the use of ANSI A108.19 to install GPTP and working with a team on panel installations.
