NTCA Offering Porcelain-Panel Training in July, August

JACKSON, Miss. – Contractors can learn about installation of gauged porcelain tile and panels (GPTP) during nine free day-long regional training events in July and August from the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).

The presentations, scattered through the Midwest, South Central and Western United States, include instruction on new tile industry standards and methods for installing GPTP; how GPTP is made; where it can be used; and special tools, setting materials and techniques required to install it. The sessions will also emphasize the use of ANSI A108.19 to install GPTP, and working with a team to install the panels.

The July/August locations are:

  • July 13 – BPI, Memphis, Tenn.
  • July 20 – Midwest Tile, Marble and Granite, LaVista, Neb.
  • July 27 – Floor & Décor, Mesa, Ariz.
  • July 27 – Midwest Tile, Marble and Granite, Urbandale, Iowa
  • August 3 – Virginia Tile, Plymouth, Minn.
  • August 17 – Virginia Tile, Elk Grove Village, Ill.
  • August 17 – Floor and Décor, Milpitas, Calif.
  • August 24 – Gennessee Tile, Grand Rapids, Mich.
  • August 24 –Floor & Décor, San Leandro, Calif.
