NTCA Membership Passes 1,300
WOODSTOCK, Ga. – Hamilton Tile became the 1,300th member of the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) on Dec. 1.
Hamilton Tile is one of more than 200 new members the NTCA welcomed in 2016.
“Being part of a reputable organization like the NTCA offers us instant credibility with our potential customers,” said Ben Santos, owner of Hamilton Tile, “In a trade with so many options of contractors, some qualified and many not, the NTCA offers standardization which is very valuable to us.
“It seems today that anyone can pick up a trowel and call themselves a ’tile-guy.. The NTCA helps us differentiate ourselves from that crowd.”
Santos also cited the recently created NTCA University as a plus.
“We’re constantly trying to improve our trade skills and the courses offer us an opportunity to do so,” he said. “Being a member will also give us a chance to network with other passionate tile professionals. It is a huge benefit to our company being one of your 1300 members and as the saying goes, ‘There is strength in numbers!’”
The NTCA Membership Committee is actively laying out plans to reach 1500 members by 2018, and is also working on programs and services to provide increased value for this investment.
