NSI, NSF Announces Leadership for 2026
OBERLIN, Ohio – A new year means new leadership for both the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) and the Natural Stone Foundation (NSF).
Both organizations announced their 2026 boards of directors and leadership transitions as part of The International Stone Expo (TISE) held in Las Vegas late last month.

Jeff Erickson is the new president of the board of directors of NSI. Erickson succeeds Evan Cohen and will focus on NSI’s strategic priorities in industry education, technical standards and silica safety advocacy during his one-year term.
Newly elected members of the board are Martha Roberson, of Villa Rica, Ga.-based Granite Group International, and Peter Prvulovic of Mendon, Vt.-based Vermont Quarries Corp.
Roberson is a founding partner of Granite Group International and brings more than two decades of industry experience to the board. Prvulovic provides expertise in quarry operations and material production and is an active member of the North American Quarry Advocacy Group.
Joining Erickson on the executive committee are Blake Christensen, vice president and president-elect, of Valley View Granite; Evan Cohen, immediate past president, Quality Marble & Granite; Sam Arcot, treasurer, Rugo Stone, and; Filippo Emanuel, secretary, COMES North America, Inc.
Joining Prvulovic and Roberson on the board of directors are Sal Banchitta, Simple Stone Care; Kim Dumais, Miller Druck Specialty Contracting, Inc.; Reid Kubesh, Coldspring; Joshua Levinson, Artistic Tile, Inc.; Susan Moser, Fauske Marble by Moser APS, and; Irini Papagiannoulis, John Papagiannoulis Bros. SA.

The Natural Stone Foundation supports scholarship programs, sustainability initiatives and educational outreach that invest in the next generation of stone professionals. Jon Zanger, former owner of Walker Zanger, will serve as president and treasurer for NSF for the coming year. Brie Pfannenbecker, of Viking Kitchen Cabinets LLC, is the immediate past president.
NSF directors are Michael Castro of ABC Worldwide Stone; Buddy Ontra, BOSTONE LLC; Greg Osterhout, Northern Stone Supply, Inc.; Robert Paul, Genesee Cut Stone & Marble Co.; Holly Rohrer, Halbert Mill Company; Kevin Camarata, Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd., and; Rick Stimac, BB Industries LLC.
Nick Dorsey serves as director of fundraising and development for the NSF, while Jeff Erickson acts as a liaison between the two boards. Jim Hieb, executive director of NSI, is an ex-officio member of both boards.
