New Sponsor, Later Deadline for 2015 Pinnacles

OBERLIN, Ohio – There’s a new sponsor, a pair of new prizes, and an extended entry period for the 2015 Pinnacle Awards.

The annual natural-stone awards from the Marble Institute of America (MIA) announced today that the Vitória Stone Fair-Marmomacc Latin America will be sponsoring the new “Kitchen of the Year” and “Bath of the Year” categories for the Pinnacles, with category winners receiving free travel to the 2016 Brazilian stone event next February.

Due to the new awards, the MIA also extended the deadline for 2015 Pinnacle Awards entries to Aug. 12.

Winners of the “Kitchen of the Year” and “Bath of the Year” categories will receive free registration to Vitória Stone Fair-Marmomacc Latin America 2016 on Feb. 16-19, as well as airfare and lodging expenses. Next year’s event will mark the 41st International Marble and Granite Fair, and – in drawing 24,000+ attendees – is the largest natural stone fair in Latin America.
