Hilti Inc., Tulsa, Okla., introduces Super Premium (SP) and Universal Premium (UP) Diamond Blades for cutting masonry, natural stone, concrete and other hard materials. SP Blades feature Equidist diamond-segment technology, with diamonds spaced at regular intervals for 50-percent-faster cutting and longer lie than comparative blades. The UPs are top-value standard blades; all the new blades are specifically designed for use with all of the company’s hand-held diamond cutting tools.

CUSTOM SERVOMOTOR ORDERING
Siemens Industry Inc. Motion Control Business, Norcross, Ga., now offers its line of SIMOTICS® 1FK7 servomotors with a three-week interval from custom order to drop-shipment. Using a configurable options menu, motors can be ordered in more than 100,000 possible configurations; all compact (CT) and high-dynamic (HD) servomotors in the 1FK7 family are included; 1FK7 geared motor options and second generation 1FK7 servomotors are not included in this program.

SOFT-BOND FINGER BIT
Braxton-Bragg, Knoxville, Tenn., offers the MEM Gold Head Sintered Incremental Cutting Finger Bit from MarmoElettromeccanica S.r.l. of Rignano Flaminio, Italy, for cutting medium-hard to hard granites. The 25-mm-height tool can be used with radial-arm machines from Thibaut, Park Industries, RYE Corp. and other manufacturers; the five-segment bit is soft bond for cutting hard materials. DIAMOND ENCAPSULATION
Element Six, Shannon, Ireland, offers its HardZone™ synthetic-diamond encapsulation technology, with a 34-percent increase in tool life for stone-fabrication and construction products. The process can be used by tool manufacturers to either extend tool life or increase productivity, and has been designed for high ease of adoption by tool manufacturers. Encapsulation of synthetic diamond is the process of building up metal bond material around the synthetic diamond particle to the extent that the particle is completely enveloped by a sufficient quantity of bond powder to produce a sintered cutting segment.

UNDERMOUNT CLAMP
Sinkits, Nixa, Mo., introduces the Sinkits sink clamp for easily and quickly attaching undermount sinks to stone countertops. The patent-pending unit eliminating many of the steps of traditional mounting methods and various products such as clips, screws, nuts, washers and bolts. Sinkits only requires a ¼” hole to install, then bend the binding tab down, insert into hole and tighten clamp; no epoxy or anchors needed. The unit will hold in excess of 117 lbs per clamp.

H.B. Fuller Construction Products, Aurora, Ill., introduces TEC® Power Grout® for both interior and exterior installations and residential/commercial applications. The product allows grout joints ranging from 1/16”- to 1/2” with a single floor and wall formula, accommodating foot traffic within four hours and shower usage in 24 hours. The solution includes a limited lifetime warranty against efflorescence and color fading, with stain-resistance and no requirement for sealing.
