New Date for NYC-area Seminar from MIA
CLEVELAND — The New York metropolitan-area seminar from the Marble Institute of America next month made a move … but only by one day.
Business Success for Fabricators is still at the same location — International Granite & Marble Corp. (IGM) in North Bergen, N.J. — but the new date is Wednesday, Sept. 19.
The session, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, allows area stone comapanies to connect and participate in a discussion about the cost of doing business, along with other fabricator-related concern. The seminar’s topics include:
• Analyzing the Cost of Doing Business;
• Safety: An Overview of New Resources Available to Fabricators and Distributors;
• Issues Impacting Fabricators in Today’s Market; and
• Becoming an MIA Accredited Fabricator.
Part of the presentation will feature a fabricator forum, including Tony Malisani of Malisani Inc. in Great Falls, Mont., and MIA board secretary.
Lunch will be served after the presentation.
Registration for the seminar is $99 for installers and fabricators, and $249 for suppliers and stone distributors.
The event made the move from the original Sept. 18 date to accomodate the two-day celebration of Rosh Hashanah.
IGM is located at 2038 83rd St. in North Bergen.
The New York metropolitan-area MIA seminar is sponsored by Stone Boss.
