The Bronze A’ Design Award is a prestigious award given to only the top 10Tof designs that delivers an exemplary level of quality in design.

A jury – comprised academics, professionals, enterprise and focus group members – awarded Neolith’s Calacatta the Bronze A’ Design Award for Building Materials, Construction Components, Structures & Systems Design Category.

Architizer, the web’s largest platform for architecture and design, honors the best in architecture, spaces, and products from around the world with their annual A+ Awards. Over 400,000 public votes were cast from more than 100 countries to determine the winners in each category, with Neolith’s Calacatta design winning the prestigious A+ Popular Choice award in the Product Category for Materials: stone, concrete, and masonry.

Calacatta features a bright white backdrop to allow the intricate veining that is synonymous with the white marbles from Carrara, Italy. to truly stand out. In order to achieve the design, Neolith utilizes its proprietary Neolith Digital Design (NDD) technology, a state-of-the-art decoration technique to achieve marble-like features. The result is a surface that is virtually indistinguishable from marble, but made to stand up to the rigors

“Achieving recognition through these esteemed competitions demonstrates our will to challenge ourselves to innovate, redesign and rethink the surfacing industry; it motivates us to continue to set the bar high,” said Mar Esteve, Marketing Project Manager, TheSize. “We wanted to create a material category that offered design and functional freedom to the architectural world; being awarded the A’ Design Award and the Architizer A+ Award for product design shows us that we’ve done that.”
