MSI Supports Tutoring for Employees’ Families
ORANGE, Calif. — M S International, Inc. (MSI) is launching a national partnership with My Private Professor LLC to offer free, personalized, one-on-one tutoring for the children of employees in grades K-12.
Through the agreement, MSI is offering free virtual tutoring sessions to its U.S. employees with school-aged children that are tailored to meet their students’ individual needs. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic prevented many students from being able to attend school in person and, in some cases, affected their education.
From first-grade math, reading, and writing to high-school calculus, AP statistics, and SAT prep, children of MSI employees across the country are utilizing these individualized sessions to help them succeed in school.
With a wide variety of tutors available and sessions that are easy to schedule, this extra academic support aims to ease families’ stress and help students keep up with their academics. MSI continues to provide free laptops for families of employees in order to enable the virtual sessions.
In discussing his children’s tutoring sessions through MSI’s Academic Support Program, MSI employee Edmund F. said, “It was great! Our tutor was very friendly and patient with my two boys. They’re actually looking forward to their next session.”
“We recognize how difficult remote learning or limited in-person instruction can be, and we’re excited to launch this program to help provide extra support for our employees’ children,” said Raj Shah, President for MSI. “Supporting education in the communities in which we work and live has always been paramount to MSI. My Private Professor is the ideal partner for this program as they have the passion, staff, and resources to help empower children and progress.”
MSI is committed to supporting education-related causes nationwide. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has increased its efforts to provide employees with the resources they need to ensure their children’s and families’ success.
MSI is also one of the five recent recipients of the inaugural Companies That Care Award from the Orange County Business Journal. The company received this award for its exceptional commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates through its philanthropic efforts.
The MSI Charitable Trust aims to improve and strengthen the health, education, and wellness of communities worldwide. In addition to investing in research, education technology, vocational training, and nutrition, MSI offers a matching employee donation program at a 1:1 ratio. The program has helped support more than 200 unique charities across the United States.
