MIA Fabricator Performance Survey Opens Oct. 1
OBERLIN, Ohio — It’s time again to take stock of U.S. dimensional stone fabrication … and the Marble Institute of America (MIA) is looking for your help.
The MIA is inviting all fabricators — regardless of membership in the industry group — to participate in the 2013 Fabricator Performance Analysis Report, starting on Oct. 1.
The sixth-annual survey will allow fabricators to compare their operations to firms of similar size and offer a basis for improving profitability and efficiency.
The free study is confidential (no individual company responses will be shared or sold) and MIA membership is not required. The survey will cover the fabrication segment of the stone industry, including natural stone and quartz surfaces.
Participants will receive a report that compares their responses to survey averages. Many firms find this kind of report useful when working with lenders to discuss loans and lines of credit.
To participate, contact the MIA for a survey form at miainfo@marble-institute.com.
The deadline for participation in this year’s survey is Oct. 31
This year’s study is made possible by a grant received from Cosentino USA, KOHLER Co. and TENAX.
