MIA+BSI Set for Design & Construction Week 2018
OBERLIN, Ohio & CHESTERTOWN, N.Y. — MIA+BSI: The Natural Stone Institute is a supporting organization of the fifth annual Design & Construction Week (DCW) 2018 in early January in Orlando, Fla.
The DCW’s founding partners, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) will continue driving the possibilities of home forward during the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS) and the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) at the Orange County Convention Center on Jan. 9-11,
The fifth annual DCW will bring together more than 80,000 design and construction professionals in the largest gathering of the residential design and construction industry.
MIA+BSI members will enjoy discounted registration for the event, while the organization’s leaders will participate in the Design & Construction Week Executive Roundtable to discuss issues and trends in the US housing market and exchange ideas with other industry representatives.
“Sponsoring this event fits well with our mission to educate our industry about the benefits of using natural stone,” said Jon Lancto, 2017 MIA president. “The attendees at this event are the decision makers when choosing materials for their projects.”
“This important collaboration is a key way to bring great value to our membership and all attendees at both shows,” said NKBA CEO Bill Darcy. “It’s another way to expand our relationship with other segments of the industry and provide valuable networking and learning opportunities to help our members grow their businesses.”
“Design & Construction Week has become the industry’s must-attend event with so many industry players in one place,” said NAHB CEO Jerry Howard. “We continue to add big names to the roster and expect to see continued growth and collaboration, making this our best year yet.”
