Marqet Group Opens New, Expanded Location
HOUSTON– The Marqet Group opened its new offices here last month.
The marketing agency, focused in the construction and design industry with an emphasis on surfacing and kitchen/bath products, now operates in a 3,000 ft². facility in the Spring Valley Town Center.
Featuring an open-space concept and multiple collaboration spaces, team members are able to proficiently create and work together on projects. Residing near the Memorial Design Center, Marqet is surrounded by designers and creative minds alike.
Later in the year, Marqet will develop a showroom to display and highlight client products. In 2018, Marqet aims to double its number of employees and increase its portfolio of clients to continue servicing U.S.-based companies and later, expand internationally into Europe, Mexico and Canada.
With experience and expertise geared toward the design construction industry, the agency offers a 360° approach to marketing services, creating customized strategies that complement and leverage existing opportunities and marketing assets through a combination of public relations, social media, digital, content marketing, graphic design, merchandising services and event management.
The agency was founded by Lorenzo Marquez. Marquez has 13 years of experience in the design and construction industry and serves as the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) chairman of the board for a second consecutive year.
Since its inception nine months ago, Marqet’s clientele has increased to nine clients and its workforce has grown to 12 members, including web and graphic designers, social media strategists, account managers, and event and merchandising coordinators.
“The expansion of our office is a result of our growth over the past nine months,” Marquez said. “We continue to be pleased with the success and achievements of Marqet Group and believe this expansion will provide all the resources needed to support our strategic objectives in the future.”
