Marmomacc 2014 is a Sellout

 

VERONA, Italy – The 2014 edition of Marmomacc is sold out … when it comes to the exhibit halls.

250 MarmoAnd, the people running those exhibit stands are eager to see Americans.

More than 1,400 confirmed exhibitors from 56 countries -­ with new entries from Malta, Mexico, Thailand, Ukraine and Zimbabwe – have fully booked Veronafiere’s 75,000 m² (807,292 ft²) space for the mammoth stone event on Sept. 24-27.

The €3.9 billion (source: Confindustria Marmomacchine) Italian stone industry will be well represented; processed stone and technology accounted for a €2.4 billion positive trade balance in the sector for the country.

The top ten markets of interest highlighted by Italian exhibitors at Marmomacc confirmthat the United States in first place, followed by Russia, China, Italy, Brazil, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India and Turkey.

Veronafiere, through its network of foreign delegates and in collaboration with Confindustria Marmomacchine and ICE-­Italian Agency for International Promotion and Internationalisation of Italian Companies, has worked to attract qualified and selected stone industry and contract buyers to Marmomacc with the aim of involving them in training programs, B2B appointments with exhibitors and meetings with international groups.

This year, moreover, ties with the world of design are even closer. In fact, the show is scheduled for the first time together with Abitare Il Tempo, the exhibition devoted to the contract, interior decoration and furnishing/furniture sector that complements and extends Marmomacc’s own offering.
