Marmomac Offers Stone Symposium Online

VERONA, Italy – Industry leaders will take a close look at the natural-stone industry next week during four days of online sessions produced by the Marmomac trade event.

Marmomac Talks Live, from May 24-27, will involve top names in the sector in discussions and comparisons about the present and future of the natural stone industry. A total of 11 trend will be discussed by internationally renowned speakers, along with presentations of successful case histories.

Each session will include a 30-minute main presentation, after which the online audience will be able to interact during each session with questions and comments. All sessions will include simultaneous translation in English and Italian.

The topics covered range from sustainability in architecture to the use of natural stone in contemporary art or the world of design, among others. A session on the North American market on May 26 includes Natural Stone Institute Board President Michael Picco and CEO Jim Hieb.

The talks are part of the wider Marmomac Plus project, a digital platform active 365 days a year to enhance knowledge and awareness of possible uses of natural stone involving a network of Italian and international companies.

Digital tickets for Marmomac Talks Live are €49. The online ticket also includes a bonus set of codes – one to gain daily entry at the in-person Marmomac 2021 show in Verona on Sept. 29-Oct. 2.
