The initiative, announced here today during Marmomac, will position the Brazilian event ast a new reference for the natural stone and processing technologies chain of Central and South America, along with seeking new opportunities in the United States market.

Marmomac Brazil is the evolution of the Vitòria Stone Fair, held annually through this year in the capital of the State of Espírito Santo. With the decision to invest in the value of the Marmomac brand and, with the strategic repositioning in São Paulo, Veronafiere seeks to grow the event and present Brazil to a more-international audience.

The Veronafiere Group, owner and organizer of Marmomac, has been present in Brazil since 2013 with the holding company Veronafiere do Brasil. Through its subsidiary Milanez & Milaneze, it operates several important local trade fairs, particularly with stone, industrial mechanics, and wine.

“I want to emphasize once again how this operation is an example of collaboration capable of leading to great results,” said Federico Bricolo, Veronafiere. “The goal is to continue working together with our colleagues, institutions and Brazilian partners to make Marmomac Brazil a fair capable of generating over $200 in commercial exchanges.”

Bricolo noted that Brazil is one of the world’s leaders in the stone industry, with some of the greatest diversity of stone available through more than 1,500 active quarries.

“It is the fourth-largest producer and the fifth-largest global exporter of ornamental stones,” Bricolo added. “It has more than 10,000 active companies; 400 with an international presence and equipped with state-of-the-art extraction and processing facilities.”

“The Marmomac Brazil brand will create new synergies and relationships between the two fairs,” says Adolfo Rebughini, Veronafiere general manager. “This, both at the level of cross-marketing and incoming operators, taking advantage of the large global community of Marmomac, with greater possibilities of common actions to involve more companies and visitors.

“At the same time, the location of São Paulo offers the dynamism and potential of a metropolis, recognized as the most -populous economic and industrial pole of the southern hemisphere.”

“Marmomac Brazil now joins Marmomac’s prestigious global network, with the ambition to be recognized as the largest natural stone fair in the Americas,” says Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze, “The event will be a unique opportunity to connect leading industry leaders and explore the latest innovations and trends in the field of natural stones, strengthening the market, promoting business and encouraging the sustainable and creative use of stones.”
