Marmomac Brazil Closes In on 15,000

SÃO PAULO, Brazil – The second edition of Marmomac Brazil, held the last week in February, drew nearly 15,000 visitors over three days to two pavilions at the city’s Anhembi District.

The only edition of the fair held outside Italy also drew 180 exhibitors from 70 countries representing the entire value chain: quarries, stone processors, technologies and input, architecture and design firms, as well as national and international buyers.

Attendees came from several international markets including the United States, China, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Russia, and Poland, as well as Brazil.

The strong numbers are one of the indicators the show is on the right path, and also offers a challenge to produce a bigger and better event in 2027, according to Flavia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze, the show’s organizers.

Interviews with exhibitors showed they were impressed by the numbers and amounts of sales they closed during the show, while fostering direct connections among various players in the industry.

As part of the second edition of the show, booths were eligible to compete in the Best Communicator Awards, recognizing exhibition projects capable of transforming booths into memorable experiences.

A total of 15 booths were selected in five categories: Interactivity, Technology, Design, Sustainability and Innovation. This year’s show also introduced a new category, Ambassador. Flavia Milaneze says the Ambassador category recognizes exhibitors who have supported the fair in every stage of its promotion.

“This recognition is a way to thank those who build Marmomac Brazil alongside us,” she said.

The 2027 Marmomac Brazil show is scheduled for next March 2-4.
