MACHINERY: CNC Saw
BACA Systems, Orion Township, Mich., introduces the Marco CNC Bridge Saw. The monobloc-frame unit offers a tool stroke of 12’6” X 7’6”, with Z-axis travel of 12”, and the ability to handle an 18”-diameter blade with a 14 HP spindle. The four-axes cutting head includes pneumatic tilt from 0°-45°, with a 360° rotating head.
Cutting is controlled in manual mode, a semi-automatic programming of nine lines of cut in step-and-repeat up to 99, and full automatic mode utilizing DXF file types from CAD/CAM and digital-templating solutions. The machine’s operating touchscreen console is set on a standalone wheeled control stand.
The unit includes a hydraulic work table with tilt up to 80° to ease slab loading.
