LPE Group Taps Van Der Bas for North America
BRADFORD, U.K. — LPE Group North America announces that Gerry Van Der Bas is the new president/EO of LPE Group North America, effective Nov. 1.
Van Der Bas will also act as president/CEO of the group’s Turrini USA unit involved in the business of dust collection and water treatment. He’ll work from his office in Pennsylvania.
Van Der Bas has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing roles specializing in CNC and other heavy manufacturing machinery, and has been active in the North American stone industry since 2003.
“I chose LPE Group because it’s a company of people who respect the investments of their clients by working hard at their satisfaction and serving them with right sized solutions for their manufacturing challenges,” Van Der Bas said. “I’ve always been impressed with their entire group and their CAN DO attitude and the supportive environment around them.

Prior to Joining LPE Group, Van Der Bas was national sales manager in the stone division of Breton USA. Before switching focus to the stone industry, he worked as sales manager of the company’s Machine Tool Division focused on large-format gantry CMC machines for heavy industry and Aerospace.
Van Der Bas also worked as vice president of sales at R&M Precision Products, involved in sales and distribution of CNC equipment serving tool and die, job shop and other manufacturing clientele.
