Louisville Tile Distributors Acquires Mid America Tile
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville Tile Distributors Inc. announces today the acquisition of full interest in Mid America Tile, a Chicago-area wholesale tile distributor and importer. Purchase details weren’t disclosed.
Family-owned and operated since 1961, Mid America Tile is based in Elk Grove Village, Ill. The location will become Louisville Tile’s 13th branch office.
The acquisition includes a recently renovated showroom, office space, and a 71,000 ft² warehouse. The acquisition expands Louisville Tile’s product offering while extending its natural geographic footprint and status as a leading regional distributor in the Midwest United States..

As a part of the acquisition, Louisville Tile will add 15 FTEs, increasing the Louisville Tile team to over 250 employees with 13 branches in 6 states.
