LATICRETE Promotes Saleem to Vice President
BETHANY, Conn. – LATICRETE International Inc. promotes Faisal Saleem to vice president for the company’s International Division.
Saleem was elected by the company’s board of directors at its May meeting.
Saleem will oversee international sales, strategic planning and business development, marketing and the company’s international research and development services program for the building-solutions manufacturer. He’ll report to International Division President Erno de Bruijn.
“For two decades, with ‘feet on the ground’ in three continents, Faisal has supported LATICRETE and our customers with a unique combination of international expertise, technical knowledge and professionalism,” de Bruijn said. “LATICRETE could not have chosen a better person for the job.”
In 1995, Saleem began working with a LATICRETE distributor in Saudi Arabia. He joined the company’s Middle East team in 2000, and soon relocated to India to develop and support LATICRETE India.
In his term with LATICRETE, Saleem worked as technical services manager, international technical services director, director of international business development and, most recently, senior director of international business development.
Saleem graduated from Osmania University Civil Engineering School in Hyderabad, India, and completed the Harvard Business School General Management Program.
