LATICRETE Acquires L&M Construction Chemicals

 

BETHANY, Conn. – LATICRETE International Inc. (LATICRETE) announced today the strategic-asset acquisition of L&M Construction Chemicals Inc. in Omaha, Neb.

L&M produces a diverse line of concrete construction chemicals; the move expands LATICRETE’s presence in the restoration and decorative concrete category.

LATICRETE The acquisition is expected to be completed this month, with integration of manufacturing, sales and service functions throughout the year.

Rothberg, chairman and CEO of LATICRETE. “Through this acquisition, L&M’s brand portfolio will gain access to LATICRETE’s manufacturing capabilities, sales representation and marketing and support services. LATICRETE’s customers, in turn, will enjoy access to some of the most-innovative decorative and restoration products on the market.”

In the past two years, LATICRETE has expanded its restoration and decorative product line, including the 2011 acquisition of Drytek Flooring Solutions LLC and formation of the LATICRETE SUPERCAP joint venture.

Family-owned L&M manufactures and sells concrete construction chemicals including coatings, sealers, construction grouts, patch and repair mortar, as well as color hardeners for polished concrete. L&M has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability and exceptional service within the concrete industry – developing long standing relationships with contractors, distributors and architects.
