LATICRETE Acquires HP Spartacote®

BETHANY, Conn. – HP Spartacote, a producer of high-performance floor coverings, is now part of LATICRETE International Inc.

Terms of the July acquisition weren’t announced. Integration of manufacturing, sales and service functions will occur during the next 12 months.

HP Spartacote’s product line will complement the current LATICRETE® DRYTEK® and LATICRETE L&M® offerings. The acquisition is the third major deal for LATICRETE this year, following the purchases of L&M Construction Chemicals and the DuPont™ Surface Care Business.

The addition expands LATICRETE’s presence in the restoration, decorative flooring and coatings category. Golden, Colo-based HP Spartacote produces a premium line of resinous floor coatings for commercial, industrial and residential markets around the world. It works with facility managers and architects to specify highly durable, fast return-to-service solutions for concrete flooring.

Under the new ownership of LATICRETE, the HP Spartacote brand and product portfolio will leverage the many resources and opportunities LATICRETE offers including: nationwide manufacturing facilities; an expanded team of sales representatives; LATICRETE global research and development capabilities; world-class marketing and technical services; access to global markets; an enhanced architectural presence; and, access to LATICRETE nationwide distribution system.
