Laser Products Expands Workforce and Facility

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Laser Products recently completed a workforce and facility expansion in response to continuous and rapid growth of its laser products.

250 LPIThe manufacturing facility for the producer of digital measuring equipment expanded to include more than 12,000 ft² of production space at the company’s headquarters in Romeoville,.

Ken Pohlman joins the company to increase assembly capacity, and will report to Production Manager Matt Flake.

The marketing department of Laser Products tripled with the hiring of Alex Gay, marketing intern, and Brittany Nichols, marketing coordinator, along with the retention of an outside graphics design company and a marketing communications firm. The department will work under the direction of Director of Marketing Brian Stoiber.

“Expanding our production and marketing capabilities is a direct result of 20% year-over-year growth over the last three years,” said Rich Katzmann, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Our focus is to continuously develop new products and services that make business operations easier and more profitable for our customers.

“We are ramping up now because we have new products and new partnerships in the pipeline for next year, that will do exactly that.”
