Jensen Joins Natural Stone Institute Exec Committee

OBERLIN, Ohio— Katie Jensen of Triton Stone Group is the newest member of the Natural Stone Institute’s executive committee.

Katie JensenJensen will serve as board secretary this year and advance through other executive positions on the industry group’s board. She is scheduled to become the institute’s board president in 2024.

“I am honored to have been selected to the Natural Stone Institute executive committee,” Jensen said. “It has been a joy to contribute and deliver an outstanding member experience. I hope to continue to provide leadership with my peers as we provide more resources to advance the natural-stone industry.”

“Since joining the board she has leveraged her business connections to get more companies involved in the Institute’s initiatives,” said Michael Picco, this year’s board president. “Her resume of involvement is impressive, and she is the perfect candidate to keep the association focused on the member experience and continuing as the leader in technical resources and education.”

Jensen, president of Triton Stone Group of New Orleans, is a 2006 co-founder of the company.

The Natural Stone Institute’s executive committee this year also includes Vice President Buddy Ontra and Treasurer Duane Naquin.
