ISFA Porcelain Training in Houston

INGOMAR, Pa. – The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) will conduct a one-day training session on how to fabricate large-format porcelain on Sept. 1 at Moderno Porcelain Works in Houston.

The hands-on session will include:

  • Material handling and inspection;
  • Waterjet and bridge-saw cutting techniques;
  • Feed rates, blade selection, and tooling;
  • Sink cutouts, mitering and seaming;
  • Adhesives and finishing techniques; and;
  • Installation best-practices for horizontal and vertical applications.

The session is designed for both those new to porcelain and those looking to refine their skills. Participants successfully completing the hands-on project will receive an ISFA certificate of completion.
