Howard New NTCA Board Chairman
GRAPEVINE, Texas – Martin Howard will be the chairman of the board of the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) for 2019.
Howard, a former president of the NTCA, received the nod from the group’s leadership here during its annual meeting at Total Solutions Plus last month.

He also represents the NTCA on the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) Handbook Committee.
The NTCA also elected Christopher Walker as president, Martin Brookes as first vice president and Sam Bruce as second vice president.
Walker, the current vice president of David Allen Co., brings more than 30 years of industry experience with his association with successful completion of millions of square feet of residential and commercial projects. He is also the chairman of ANSI A-108 and US TAG ISO T-189 Committees, and is a voting member of the NTCA Reference Manual and the TCNA Handbook Committees
Brookes, founder of Heritage Marble & Tile Inc. in Mill Valley, Calif, has been active in the masonry and tile industry since 1978. He is a recognized industry consultant with his 40 years of experience in the masonry and tile industry. He holds seats on the NTCA Methods and Standards Committee and the ANSI A108 Committee, and also a member of, and inspector fo,r the Institute of Inspections Certification Restoration.
Bruce is the president and operations manager of Visalia Ceramic Tile Inc. in Visalia, Calif., and holds more than 20 years of industry experience. Bruce previously served as an NTCA Regional Director.
