HanStone Quartz: Direct Sales

ATLANTAHanwha Surfaces announces that it’ss moving to a direct-sales model for its HanStone Quartz surfaces in New England area, along with Michigan and Ohio.

250 HanwhaOn the heels of the opening of its Philadelphia warehouse and showroom last October, the American subsidiary of South Korean-based conglomerate Hanwha L&C will make the direct-sales transition to help the company directly reach consumers in these high volume territories with their HanStone Quartz product line.

The expansion signals a period of unprecedented growth for Hanwha Surfaces, which is moving its entire production to North America in the coming year.

“New England, Michigan and Ohio have always been strong areas for sales for Hanwha Surfaces,” says Hanwha’s VP of Strategy Dan Boyd. “With our recent warehouse openings in Atlanta and Philadelphia we are better equipped to directly service these territories.”

The company plans to open warehouses in these areas. starting with Springfield, Mass., in the next year and in Ohio in the near future.

Hanwha Surfaces, based in Atlanta, sells and markets high-quality surfacing products under HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surfaces brand names. HanStone Quartz is the company’s flagship product; North American production is through a state-of-the-art, 200,000 ft² manufacturing facility in London, Ontario.
