GranQuartz Opens New HQ & Store
NORCROSS, Ga. – GranQuartz celebrated the opening of its new headquarters here today with its customers, several vendor partners … and plenty of the South’s most-famous hot dogs.

The stone- and concrete-industry supplier of tooling and chemicals made the move to the Atlanta-metro-area facility and gained larger quarters with the 62,000 ft² distribution center/retail center/offices. In addition to getting more space for the company’s 12,000-item inventory (including an expanded selection and the stocking of larger equipment), the new digs also include room to expand its corporate staff and allow for more product testing.
The company offered special deals to customers during its grand-opening celebration yesterday, along with demonstrations from several product vendors and an appearance from Ally Mello, this year’s Miss Makita.
The event also featured catering via a mobile kitchen from The Varsity, the legendary Atlanta outlet of arguably the world’s absolute best chili dogs.
