Free Ride to Coverings? It’s a Snap
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – If you’re looking for a free ticket to Coverings 2014 in Las Vegas this spring, take a picture.
The tile and stone expo, set for April 29-May 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, opened an online photography contest today to commemorate Coverings’ 25th year, with two grand prizes offering a plane ticket and lodging for the show.
From now until March 28, participants can upload their favorite photo of tile + stone, with an explanation of where they shot the image and the hashtag #Coverings25 in its caption. The self-shot photos can be submitted via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, and there is no limit to the number of images each participant may submit – in fact, the more photos the participants enter, the more chances there are to win.
Two grand-prize winners will receive airline transportation to Las Vegas and a hotel room for three days, along with a seat at a special VIP dinner with some of the most prominent leaders in the tile + stone industry. Three winners of weekly prizes (on Feb. 17, March 3 and March 17), chosen at random from entries, will win $50 gift certificates. Participants are encouraged to enter across all platforms to increase their chances to win.
“As we prepare for the show’s 25th anniversary, we’re looking forward to highlighting how tile and stone impacts our lives every day,” said Karin Fendrich, Coverings show director. “Tile and stone continues to have the unique ability to transform the look of interiors and exteriors with rich textures, color, warmth and fluidity that few other products can replicate.
We’re excited to see what inspires our exhibitors, attendees and fans as we all prepare for this year’s show.”
