Flooring Sustainability Summit Set for July
ARLINGTON, Va. – The Natural Stone Institute (NSI) is among four major industry associations co-hosting the first Flooring Sustainability Summit on July 17-18 in Washington.
The event aims to bring together government, industry and other interested parties together to address a variety of sustainability issues.
Joining the NSI in launching the event are the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), and the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA).
This groundbreaking summit is an opportunity to bring together policymakers, advocacy groups, standards organizations, manufacturers, distributors, construction professionals, architects, designers, and procurement officers.
The event will feature panel discussions, networking sessions, and working groups to provide valuable learning opportunities and open direct lines of communication with key sustainability decision makers.
“The summit provides the information attendees need to make educated business decisions and help their organizations enter the next chapter of sustainability,” said Bill Griese, TCNA deputy executive director and summit chairman. “These insightful discussions among various stakeholders are a big step towards shaping the future of flooring.”
