FLOFORM Wins Canada “Top 50” Honors

 

WINNIPEG, ManitobaFLOFORM Countertops Ltd. recently became one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies – the first stone-fabrication company to receive the honor.

50BMCC TEDFLOFORM President/CEO Ted Sherritt with the “50 Best” award.The 50 Best Managed program, sponsored by Deloitte & Touche LLP and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), recognizes excellence in Canadian-owned and –managed companies with revenues exceeding $10 million.

“We will now be able to proudly display the ’50 Best’ logo,” says Britt Karlson, FLOFORM COO, “which, for us, symbolizes that we are among the best entrepreneurial companies that compete for this designation – and look forward in the future to meeting this standard year-after-year.”

The 50 Best program recognizes companies for overall business performance and sustainable growth; measures beyond financial performance; and the efforts of the entire organization. An independent panel of judges select the top companies, with winners receiving honors during an awards ceremony in Toronto.

Established in Winnipeg in 1961, FLOFORM now operates in nine locations throughout western Canada, along with three U.S. facilities in Oregon and Washington. It fabricates with natural stone – including the Artisan Stone Collection – along with solid surface, quartz surfaces and Heritage Wood countertops.

FLOFORM is also a member of the Artisan Group and the Marble Institute of America (MIA), and holds MIA accreditation.
