Christopher Ribeiro, COO of Absolute Stone Design of Glen Allen, Va., is part of the NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 Class of 2023, announced earlier this month.

The program recognizes talented young kitchen and bath professionals as 22the rising leaders across the industry in kitchen-and bath-design, sales, manufacturing and remodeling. Nominees were evaluated on their career or educational achievements, commitment to excellence in the kitchen-and-bath industry and leadership within their organizations.

“The NKBA Thirty Under 30 program provides fantastic opportunities to help nurture these rising stars, and help them grow,” said Bill Darcy, NKBA CEO. “It’s beyond inspiring to see them accomplish so much. These really are the future leaders of our industry.”

Ribeiro, a member of the NKBA’s Virginia chapter, grew up in this industry, and is now a second generation stone craftsman. He had the opportunity of growing up in the Richmond area, which continues to grow and has been surrounded by ample community support.

Ribeiro graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a concentration in finance, and two minors: Economics and Spanish.

Absolute Stone Design, founded by current CEO Valdeci Ribeiro, has served the Richmond market for more than 15 years.

The incoming class will be formally inducted next Jan. 31 on the NeXT Stage during KBIS 2023 in Las Vegas.
