Fabrication Seminar in Atlanta This Week
ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. — BACA Systems will hold a fabrication seminar in Atlanta on Oct. 12, hosted by Premier Surfaces.
The companies will collaborate to change the way people think about the fabrication process. This seminar intends to educate stone fabricators on the benefits of owning a Robot SawJet and how digital measurement and robotics are transforming the stone industry.
The one-day seminar will provide tips on how to reduce labor, increase productivity and material yield, as well as save on tooling.
Chuck Russo, owner of BACA Systems and 30-year veteran in the robotics and stone industry, will be the seminar’s headline presenter. Russo will discuss how robotics are changing the manufacturing world and how the evolution of the fabrication process can decrease business costs and maximize revenue.
Other presenters will offer topics related to measurement, templating, installation and cutting. In addition to these stone-manufacturing topics, the seminars will cover marketing strategies and financing techniques to help attendees elevate their businesses to the next level, as well as digital-templating best-practices.
“Our goal with the BACA Digital Fabrication Seminars is to provide stone fabricators with all of the tools needed to move their business forward in all aspects of their overall business, not just fabrication,” Russo said. “We aim to provide an all-inclusive learning experience that helps them formulate a plan to grow their operation; part of our discussion is around the ‘BACA secret-sauce’ which has been proven effective for many businesses across North America.”
BACA Systems launched their Robo SawJet in 2014, creating high-production dual-table cutting system that yields up to a 70% reduction in labor costs and 20% material optimization from other production methods.
BACA Systems held its first seminar in Seattle last month and plans to hold one more after the Atlanta session this year and several in different markets in 2018. The Oct. 12 event in Atlanta, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. local time is free, but to attend, you must contact BACA Systems via phone at 855-847-7330 or online at https://bacasystems.com/atlanta/.
