Digital Stone Expo Draws A Crowd

 

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.Front Range Stone hosted 85 fabricators last week for one of Park Industries’ largest Digital Stoneworking Expo to date.

The fabricators from the United States and Canada saw Front Range Stone’s digital systems for designing and fabricating stone countertops.The Oct. 4 event included a brief presentation on the history and evolution of personnel, process and fabrication technology at Front Range Stone, which is also a member of the Artisan Group of North American stone fabricators.

“The remodeling industry is experiencing a comeback and fabricators need to be ready with the latest technology,” said Brad Pearce, Front Range Stone president. “We were glad that we could share the changes and investments we have made for Front Range Stone’s future with other stone fabricators.”

“Our industry is changing at lightning speed,” said Stephanie Kadlec, Park Industries marketing manager. “Today, more than ever, fabricators are focused on reducing production costs.

“Digital fabrication is the future of our industry. This technology enables fabricators to reduce costs, increase productivity and be more profitable.”
