Cutting Edge Acquires Easyfit

PERRYSBURG, Ohio – Cutting Edge Countertops Inc. is acquiring Easyfit Products Inc. in a move to serve the Ohio markets of Columbus and Dayton.

The acquisition brings the overall size of Cutting Edge Countertops to nearly 235 employees, as it operates five showrooms and three service centers across Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Easyfit, located in Delaware, Ohio, opened in 1989. The company fabricates and installs primarily natural stone and quartz, along with solid-surface and laminate countertops, in its 35,000  ft² facility.

Cutting Edge Countertops has experienced steady growth since opening its doors in 2006. The company expanded its service area through a strategic acquisition in 2016 to include Indiana locations in Noblesville and South Indianapolis along with Wixom, Mich. It opened a new showroom in Troy, Mich., in 2019.

Family owned Cutting Edge Countertops produces approximately 12,000 projects a year. The company holds accreditation from the Natural Stone Institute.
