Coverings to Fete Young Industry “Rock Stars”

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Coverings is launching a program to honor the best best and brightest young professionals in the tile and stone industries.

“Coverings’ Rock Stars – An Emerging Leaders Program” will represent a cross-section of industry professionals making an impact on the industry with the traits and characteristics of future leaders.

The Coverings’ Rock Stars program is seeking nominations for practicing professionals 35 years or younger including architects, designers, contractors, installers, fabricators, distributors and retailers.

The inaugural group, selected by a panel of industry professionals, will be recognized through a series of special events and activities at Coverings 2015 from April 14-17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

“Coverings is a show for the industry and by the industry, so it’s critical that we take time to honor the ambitious, forward-thinking individuals that are laying the foundation for future generations,” said Karin Fendrich, Coverings show director. “The tile and stone industry is comprised of ambitious and talented entrepreneurs and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.”

The selected Rock Stars and will each receive a one-night hotel stay in Orlando to attend Coverings, and be recognized at CID Awards and Opening Night Celebration on April 14. The group, along with their nominators, will also be honored with a luncheon at the show on April 15, where they will offer insight and guidance to others interested in furthering their careers in the tile and stone industry.  

Nominators should be an active professional also working in the industry. To nominate a qualified individual, or to nominate yourself, complete a submission form at coverings.com/RockStars before Feb. 6.
