Coverings Seeks 2016 Presentations
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – If you have a great idea for a conference session at Coverings 2016, let the event’s organizers know … but do it quickly.
The tile-and-stone event is looking for industry professionals to share their experiences and expertise in Chicago next April, with proposals due by Aug. 26.
Coverings urges tile-and-stone professionals to create presentations covering these areas:
- Architecture;
- Interior Design;
- Installation;
- Fabrication;
- Green Building;
- Retail Sales; and
- Distribution
Coverings invites potential presenters to submit one or more educational, NON-PROPRIETARY proposals focusing on the core themes of the conference:
- Facilitating best practices in our professions and businesses;
- Advocating for the use of tile & stone in green building;
- Stimulating innovative and cutting-edge use of tile & stone;
- Visioning for the future of the industry – products, people, businesses;
- Integrating tile & stone with complementary products – fixtures, lighting, paint, cabinetry, etc.;
- Choosing the right installer for a project; and
- Focusing on Health, Safety and a Welfare issues in the industry.

Selections will be made in October and all submitters will be notified of their status in early November. A limited number of session times are available; as a result, we are unable to accept all presentations.
