Coverings Honors Entry Deadline Extended
ARLINGTON, Va. – Don’t think you can make the end-of-the-week deadline to submit entries for the 2023 Coverings Installation & Design Awards (CID) and Rock Stars young-leader recognition? Well, you’ve been reprieved.
The deadline to file those entries for both programs is now extended until Jan. 6 — but then, it’s final.
The CID Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of ceramic tile and stone in residential, institutional, and commercial projects. Projects will be judged on their levels of creativity, craftsmanship, and outstanding use of materials in the use of ceramic tile or stone within the project categories.
The competition is open to architects, designers, builders, contractors, distributors, retailers, installers, and other professionals who demonstrate design and/or installation excellence in residential and commercial projects that showcase ceramic tile and/or natural stone.
Projects must have been completed within the past two years (January 2021 – December 2022), and can be located within or outside North America. Multiple entries are accepted and encouraged. Separate forms are required for each entry.
There is no cost to enter. All entries must be submitted electronically at https://www.coverings.com/cid-awards/ with the new, extended deadline of Jan. 6.
Winners will receive one night’s stay (or equivalent gift card) at Coverings 2023 in Orlando on April 18-22, have projects displayed at the event, and be recognized at the CID Awards Reception. The projects will also be featured in various industry publications, such as this.
The Coverings Rock Stars – an emerging leaders program – honors the best and brightest young talent in the tile and stone industry. Rock Stars are nominated by industry leaders and eligible nominees must be 35 or below and employed within one of the following professions to qualify: architect, designer, distributor, retailer, contractor/installer, fabricator, specifier, trade association, or manufacturer.
Nominations will be accepted online at https://www.coverings.com/coverings-rock-stars/. And, again, the deadline is extended until Jan. 6.
