Coverings 2018 Extends Opening-Day Hours

ARLINGTON, Va. — Coverings (coverings.com) will extend its opening day in Atlanta on May 8 as part of its efforts to enhance network building at the stone and tile event.

The show floor at the Georgia World Congress Center will remain open until 6:30 p.m. – an extra 90 minutes – on the first day of the expo to allow area attendees to drop in later in their regular work days. During the extended time, called “Around the World of Tile & Stone,” there will be happy-hour specials and entertainment coupled with additional time to meet fellow attendees or exhibitors and expand professional connections.

For attendees seeking new methods to discuss challenges and shared interests or to align with new potential clients for projects or business opportunities, Coverings is adding networking functionalities to its app. Users are encouraged to complete their attendee profiles to find connections at the show. Onsite, the Meet @ Coverings area will feature a dedicated open-meeting space with tables and chairs, creating an environment dedicated to fostering relationships and cultivating a connected industry.

Coverings 2018, open from May 8-11, features exhibitors from more than 40 countries and is the stage for introducing some of the most innovative tile and stone products in the world.
