Chappell New ANN SACKS Prexy

PORTLAND, Ore. – ANN SACKS, a premier manufacturer and distributor of tile and stone, announced the appointment of Ted Chappell as President – ANN SACKS, effectively immediately.  

Ted ChappellReporting to Ron Pace, President – Decorative Products, Chappell is responsible for the strategic direction and overall business results for ANN SACKS. Chappell brings more than 25 years of experience to the premium tile-and-stone importer.

Chappell succeeds Dian Smith, who served in the position of President – ANN SACKS Tile & Stone for the past five years.

“Ted’s global business experience, proven leadership skills and results-oriented attitude will be an asset to ANN SACKS,” Pace said. “I look forward to the progress he’ll bring to the business in his new role.”

Beginning his career in sales at Lutron Electronics, Chappell supported the company in its international endeavors in Tokyo and Hong Kong. He then co-founded and served as Managing Director of L.S. Architectural in Malaysia before accepting the position of president at Erco Lighting in the United States.

In 2007, Chappell joined Poggenpohl as president of its U.S. operations. Under his direction, Chappell reestablished its position within the marketplace, opening five showroom locations and expanding its product portfolio.

Based in Portland, ANN SACKS is a division of the Kohler Co. Interiors Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kohler Co.
