STONE CLAMPS
200 omniOmni Cubed Inc., Placerville, Calif., offers two new models of carry clamps designed for easier and safer handling of countertops.  The Mega-Jaw™ Carry Clamp uses extremely durable non-marking rubber gripping tubes with improved, thicker handling grips; high-strength aluminum arms allow a pair to support a 500-lbs load (with a 25% improvement in clamping pinch force), and adjustable tension settings to hold onto countertops when not in use. The Aqua-Jaw™ Carry Vise™ is designed to not slip off wet countertops; rubber lined rails protect countertops from scratches, and the clamp opens to a now-improved 4.25” width (and ½” deeper) to accommodate thicker edges and miters, distributing weight to reduce worker strain and makes lifting heavy pieces safer and easier.  A pair of Aqua-Jaw™ vises can hold up to 800 lbs., and the optional Accessory Handle Kit adds two more handles to each clamp, allowing four workers to “share the load” of heavy countertops. Both products are available through the company’s authorized distributors.
