Johnson New StoneWorks CEO
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – StoneWorks annonces the hiring of Max A. “Andy” Johnson as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Johnson brings over two decades of leadership experience and business management to the team. Previously, Johnson began his career manufacturing and distribution business based in South Carolina. Over the course of 22 years with that company, Johnson built his career serving in various roles from staff accountant to president. In 2015, Johnson founded BottomLine Development Group, a business strategy firm in Camden, S.C.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in business from Presbyterian College. Johnson lives on Hilton Head Island with his wife, Holly. His son is a senior at The Citadel and his daughter is a freshman at Clemson University.
“I am certain that, with Andy’s leadership and exemplary business skills, we will take our company to new heights,” says John Baltzegar, StoneWorks owner/founder. “We are excited to see what the future holds.”
Baltzegar will continue in daily operations, serving as chairman of the board and business development.
StoneWorks is a family-owned business serving Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Charleston, Savannah and the surrounding areas. StoneWorks specializes in supplying natural-stone, tile, quartz and marble countertops, including custom fabrication and installation. The showroom is located at 28 Hunter Road in Hilton Head Island.
