Braxton-Bragg: Marketing by Text Message
KNOXVILLE – Braxton-Bragg is going mobile with its next marketing effort … as in smartphone and tablets.
The fabrication tooling and supply distributor announced Viper Nation, a new text-based sales plan for offering exclusive pricing on tools, supplies and wearable merchandise.
Anyone looking to join the opt-in program would text the word Viper to 31996 and respond “yes” at the prompt, and fill out the form provided.
Braxton-Bragg también ofrece una versión en español de Viper Nation. Envía la palabra Vibora al 31996, y la comunicación está en español.
At sign up, Viper Nation members receive a free t-shirt and then receive a few texts per month on exclusive CNC and tooling discounts, as well as clothing deals.
“Viper Nation will reach employees that may not have access to email throughout the day with product discounts and wearables,” said Jeff Dykstra, Braxton-Bragg vice president of sales & marketing. “Emailed product information many times does not get to the employee who makes the purchasing decisions because they are in the shop, with little email access. We want to make sure these employees are in the loop, and then some.
“We are excited to expand our Braxton-Bragg customer base by reaching some new and valued members of the fabricator community and feel that Viper Nation will help us achieve this in a fun and informative way.”
