Arizona Tile Promotes Three in Exec Mgmt.

TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona Tile announces three new promotions within its executive management team.

Beth Gaughan is now the senior vice president, sales and marketing. Gaughan joined the company in April of 1987 as a showroom consultant and subsequently worked at a sales manager and outside sales representative before being appointed vice president of sales in 2003, and vice president of sales and marketing in 2019.

As senior vice president, sales and marketing, Gaughan will lead the implementation of sales strategies in the field and showrooms, including the management of nine regional sales managers. She will also oversee the development of new showrooms, the remodel of existing showrooms and serve as part of the product design team for all products.

She will also work with and oversee the marketing team in the development of sales tools for showrooms and outside sales teams, as well as marketing and digital initiatives.

Jared Ekas is the new vice president of commercial sales. Ekas started in the tile industry while still a teenager working for his older brother’s installation company. He also worked in dealer sales before joining Arizona Tile in 2004, where he initially worked in slab sales.

Ekas moved into commercial sales in 2006. He was promoted to director of commercial sales in 2020, where he created and implemented the company’s marketing approach for commercial sales initiatives. In his new role, he works with regional sales representatives to develop and execute strategic plans as well as leading the hiring, training and development of Arizona Tile’s commercial sales team.

Chad Raymond is now the vice president, west region. He joined Arizona Tile in 2002 as a sales representative, and was named regional sales manager in 2015, In this role, he managed all outside sales representatives and internal sales teams for the greater Los Angeles, Orange County and Inland Empire regions. He also played a major role in educating customers about the company and its products.

In his new role as vice president, west region, the San Diego and Northern California regions were added to his responsibilities, encompassing all sales and operations functions for California.

Founded in 1977, Arizona Tile has grown into a nationally recognized commercial and residential distributor in 10 western states, distributing granite, marble, quartzite, limestone, and travertine slabs and tile; Della Terra® Quartz; and porcelain, ceramic and glass tile.
